Nutrition label

Learn how to read NUTRITION LABELS on food packages...
Do you read the Nutrition Facts on food labels when you shop?
Knowing how to read a food label correctly can help us to make better food choices.

SPROUT invites you to a free and practical workshop on how to read food labels.

Most of the times, we are aware of the label on the food packet but do not actually read them. If we know to read and understand what the label means, we will really know what goes into our bodies and how it contributes to our well being.

For some of us knowing how to interpret food labels can seem quite tricky. While some of us don't have time to read food labels - but it doesn't have to add hours onto our shopping trip. Once we know what to look for, it shouldn't take long to compare one product with another and make an informed decision for ourselves and our families.

This one hour session on label reading is intended to make it easier for you to use nutrition labels to make quick, informed food choices that contribute to a healthy diet.

When:  Saturday 27th March 2010
